Wavecom launched an IPV6 network
The IPv4 addresses that have been used since the beginning of the Internet are running out, and in 2012 the European IP network coordination center, RIPE, distributed the last block of IPv4 addresses to them. Therefore, it is expected that the adoption and larger transition to IPv6 will occur in the coming years.

In March 2014, RIPE NCC allocated an IPv6 address space of 2a01:97a0::/32 to WaveCom.
WaveCom will begin distributing IPv6 addresses to its customers from May 1st, and these will be free of charge to all who request them. Customers can place their orders through self-service or through customer service.
