ISO certificates renewal, 14001, 27017 and ESG
In addition to updating our existing ISO certifications in quality management, IT security, and cloud service security, we’re proud to announce that we have added the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management certification to our portfolio! We now hold certifications for ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, and 27017, helping our clients effectively meet their own regulatory requirements.
ISO 14001 is an international standard that sets out the criteria for an environmental management system. It provides a framework organizations can follow to develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve their environmental practices. ISO 14001 supports achieving environmental goals through a systematic and proactive approach, ensuring efficient use of resources and reduction of environmental impact.
ISO/IEC 27017, which WaveCom was the first in Estonia to be certified, focuses on cloud service security and complements ISO/IEC 27001 by offering specific guidelines and recommendations for cloud environments. This additional certification gives our clients even greater confidence in the security and reliability of WaveCom’s cloud services.
However, work is already underway on a new certificate. More specifically, ISO 22301 certification for business continuity management systems.
We are committed to the highest standards of governance and ethics, firmly believing that responsible management is the key to long-term success.
We’re also proud to say that we’ve become greener – actively promoting a sustainable ecosystem and mindset. Significant progress has also been made toward meeting the goals outlined in our ESG declaration.
Our approach incorporates circular economy principles, including equipment upgrades, reuse, and proper disposal. We also optimize energy usage through centralized infrastructure management and demand-driven consumption strategies.
Our cloud services actively support circularity by extending hardware lifecycle through virtualization. This allows us to maximize the use of physical resources, reducing the need for new hardware and minimizing waste. WaveCom’s data center runs exclusively on green energy, and we use biodiesel in our backup generators.
We’re proud to be pioneers in green IT innovation, helping our clients and partners reduce their carbon footprint.
Some might ask: why all this effort, WaveCom?
The answer is simple — to ensure our current and future clients continue to enjoy secure IT and cloud services backed by an exceptional customer experience.
