The volume of cloud service contracts increased fivefold
Due to the corona crisis, the growing demand for server and cloud services globally overnight did not leave Estonian companies untouched. The volume of AS WaveCom's cloud service contracts in Estonia increased almost five times in the second half of the year.

The number of users of our innovative and highly available cloud service VMware vCloud Software-defined data center platform increased by approximately 500% in the technology companies segment in the second half of the year.
The number of the company's key customers increased by 50%, and the primary impetus for this increase was primarily the COVID-19 crisis. Technology companies with the highest demands operating in Estonia suddenly needed to review the security, efficiency and pricing of their existing IT services.
The COVID-19 crisis has made it clear to many that technology has infiltrated almost all walks of life and is producing more and more data on a daily basis that needs to be processed and stored in a secure and optimized data center. The powerful VMware vCloud platform, the VMware Cloud Verified accreditation acquired exclusively in the Baltics in 2020, and the successfully renewed ISO 27001 certificate for information security and availability certainly contributed to the growth in the volume of contracts.
The vast majority of new customers reached us through the aforementioned consideration process. We expect a threefold increase in the volume of cloud services next year, primarily due to the introduction of clusters of VOware Tanzu Kubernetes, the favorite service of the DevOps people, and the introduction of the unique ISO 27017 information security standard for cloud services in Estonia.
